How To: Skateboard Tricks – 3 Tips To Give You Better Results.
Learning cool and fun skateboarding tricks is fun and a great way to impress your fun. Their is nothing more satisfying than nailing a new trick consistently. Here are three easy tips that will make learning new tricks easy.
#1. Start by having the right equipment. It is a myth that you need the most expensive equipment on the market. Good will do just fine, especially if you are just starting.
If you are a beginner you will need a decent board with good grip tape on the deck, a pair of flat, tread free skating shoes, and a small ramp. I also recommend a helmet and pads, because you will fall when you are learning new tricks.
#2. Take time to practice. Everybody gets into skating wanting to skate like Tony Hawk, but that takes a lot of time on your board. To get good you don't have to practice for eight hours every day, but you do need to practice consistently. An hour a day should get you good really fast.
#3. Learn from someone who knows what they are doing. Your friend can probably handle teaching you some of the basics of skateboarding, but if you want to lean how to do really awesome skateboard tricks you need to learn from someone who knows how to teach.
There are several different ways to make that happen. You can learn from an expert face to face with private lessons, at a clinic, or at a camp. This is ideal, but can get really expensive, really fast.
Almost as good as face to face lessons (and way cheaper) is learning from a skating guide or book that is written by a skating instructor. You want to make sure that your guide is easy to follow, is really clear, and is written by someone who knows how to teach skating.
When you follow these tips you will be amazed at how fast you can learn great skateboard tricks.
