To ride the board, all you have to do is jump in the water, then slide your feet into the bindings on the board and hold the the tow rope that comes from the boat. As the boat takes off slowly and the slack is pulled very slowly out of the rope, tightening it, you can tell the boat operator to speed up when you're ready to go. It's so easy to learn wakeboarding that you will probably be able to do tricks and instruct your friends in no time flat.

The nice thing about wakeboarding is that unlike surfing, you donat have to wait on great conditions to arise to enjoy the sport. Most days are great to enjoy a few laps around the water, and the calmer the water the better. It is also a sport that you can enjoy in both the ocean and the bay as well.
