Competition Wakeboard Vest

I love water sports, and this obviously includes wakeboarding. Wakeboarding is my second favorite board sport, only to snowboarding but it is catching up rapidly. If it is summer though, wakeboarding is my favorite activity to pass my time doing. I cherish improving and adding new tricks. It makes me have a sense of achievement and I also get that rush of life each time I stick a new trick. I really treasure wakeboarding but I will tell you what, I am absolutely thankful for wakeboard vests.

Having a wakeboarding vest really makes my boating afternoons that much better, especially because I like to try tricks when I am wakeboarding. The typical wakeboarding vest is going to be a great deal lighter than most other personal flotation devices. This lighter weight allows me to get even higher than ever previously caused by that small decrease in weight. (I am not certain if I am actually getting higher, but it feels like I am!).

These smaller wakeboard vests are also usually less bulky than other wakeboarding vests. This is huge for me. The less bulky more streamlined shape of these wakeboard vests makes you feel like you aren't even wearing a vest. Many of the competition wakeboard vests are so light that they just look like a shell of fabric with padding on them. After owning a less bulky, lighter weight life vest, I will never be able to revert to the traditional life jackets.

Another advantage that comes from utilizing these smaller wakeboard vests is that they dry out that much faster. If you have the power to obtain two of these vests, you can leave one out to dry while the other one is being used by the other person riding and by the time you are ready to ride again, the wakeboarding vest is almost dry! It never feels good to put on a cold wet life vest!

Whichever justification you have to purchase a wakeboarding vest, I hope I have enlightened you to the reasons I am grateful for wakeboard vests. I will never again be able to use a standard personal flotation device after using these lightweight wakeboarding vests!
